Combining AI See with iPath laser mapping technology, the X10 is able to effectively keep track of the layout of rooms and optimize cleaning routes to ensure efficiency and thoroughness.
The X10 smart object recognition system is extremely efficient, allowing it to detect and avoid dangers like power cords. It can be programmed to clean and recharge the battery automatically, which is an excellent touch. The X10 is unable to stay on larger carpets. The SwitchBot S10 has a sleek, contemporary look that makes it an outstanding model in its category.
5. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is a new version of Switchbot's Mini robot vacuum. This latest version is a combination of an anti-tangle rubber brush, Advanced Position Sensitive Detector (PSD) sensor and upgraded suction power reaching up to 3000Pa to offer greater corner coverage and overall cleanliness.
Utilizing SLAM navigation and a user-friendly app, the K10 Plus cleans thoroughly and efficiently. The PSD sensor works in tandem with a rotary brush to navigate through furniture. The four-stage cleaning process combines, lifts, sweeps and vacuums to eliminate dust from carpets and floors. The dust bin will empty itself, so there's no need to empty it frequently.
The app can also be used to mark areas of the room that you would like the device to stay clear of such as pets toys or power cords. This feature is typical of robotic vacuums. It's helpful when certain areas of your home need more attention.
You can set the K10 Plus so that it returns to its base station after 60, 75 or even 90 minutes to empty its garbage bin. This is a significant improvement over other robots which need to be returned and manually emptied. It can help you save a lot of time.
In my tests I found that the K10 Plus had a very excellent battery life. It lasted for 110 minutes on a single run. This is more than the Roomba Combo from iRobot's the 127-minute run time.
The K10 Plus has a fairly compact design, which makes it easy to fit under furniture or in tight spaces. It is connected to Wi-Fi and supports Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri shortcuts. It also works with IFTTT and Samsung SmartThings. Its app tracks the usage of its accessories like the filter, side brushes, and dust bag to let you know when it's time to replace them.
